Sweet potato fries | diamond fork
I have been eyeing this dish for a while and I always wanted to make it. So I decided to do it for today's lunch for my mom and me, and we both loved it. It's really very simple to prepare and once you put it in an oven, you just wait. Don't worry if it's not entirely baked, sweet potatoes are delicious raw! It makes for 2-3 portions, and it has total 520 kcal.
Ingredients
- 2 big sweet potatoes (600 g)
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions
- Heat the oven on 200 °C.
- Cut the potatoes on wedges or stripes.
- Put them in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, pepper and paprika.
- Mix well, so tossing covers every wedge.
- Spread on a baking tray, covered with baking paper.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, turning the wedges around after 20 minutes.
- Serve warm, with a side of guacamole.

Don't go too big on the oil or paprika. A great snack food and a delicacy that mom just loves, but I wouldn't eat it every day. Sometimes, it sticks on my teeth.
